Its very name pays homage to the way Roman patricians called this lake two thousand years ago: Villa Làrio reinterprets in a contemporary key the long tradition of lakeside retreat that made the Lario a destination of choice since antiquity.
The historic heart of the property is “Il Palazzo”, a nineteenth-century neoclassical building facing directly onto the lake, with an elegant loggia and a terrace opening onto the water. Alongside it, more recently, two further structures have been built making up the “mini-villa” complex: Villa Bianca, furnished in a Scandinavian-Italian style by interior designer Pietro Castagna, and the Pavilion, an independent suite perched on the cliff with its own kitchen, terrace and private garden.
