Piani di Nesso is a mountain pasture at 938 metres of elevation, in the municipality of Nesso, a starting point for several mountain hikes in the Triangolo Lariano.
What to see
The spot is a crossroads for hikers climbing towards Monte Palanzone via Rifugio Riella, or continuing towards Vallassina or Monte San Primo. It can also be reached from nearby Pian del Tivano, through a wooded stretch or along the road.
Getting there
From Nesso, an agro-forestry-pastoral road leads to the distinctive Ponte del Nosé bridge and on to Piani di Nesso.
