Along the entire lakefront of Dervio, on the eastern shore of Lake Como, this beach combines lawn, sand and pebbles in a lively, family-friendly setting. It’s reached from Via Don Penati, a short walk from the historic centre and the municipal sports centre.
The shoreline
The shoreline stretches wide and welcoming along the whole lakefront, alternating free public beach with equipped bathing establishments. Near the historic centre there’s a more sheltered area with calm waters, ideal for children, while near the Church of Saints Peter and Paul a fenced beach area has been set aside for dogs.
Facilities
Bars and restaurants line the lakefront. A sailing school with public toilets and showers serves water sports enthusiasts, and during peak season a paid inflatable water park keeps younger visitors entertained. The beach is accessible to people with disabilities.

- Address: Via Don Penati, Dervio (LC).
- Reachable by train from Dervio station, on the Trenord Lecco–Colico–Sondrio line (about forty minutes from Lecco), or by car along the SS36.
- In June-August lake jellyfish are not uncommon — generally harmless, but worth keeping an eye on while swimming.
- On summer weekends, it’s best to arrive in the morning to find a spot more easily.
