The Parco Teresio Olivelli beach is the bathing area of the civic park of Tremezzo, in the municipality of Tremezzina, with a flight of steps down to the lake.
What it is like
The park lies on the lakeshore, just after the church of San Bartolomeo, at via Statale 47. According to e-borghi, the portal of Italian villages, it has a monumental staircase, the work of the rationalist architect Lingeri (1925), and an eighteenth-century tarocchiera, and a bar open all year. The staircase leads to the water and in summer swimmers use it, together with the beach just beyond the park, past the mouth of the Mainona stream.
The official profile of the bathing site, drawn up in July 2023, describes a wooded park with a grassy area and a flight of steps that lets you enter the water; the beach is about a hundred metres wide and has parking, toilets, a shower, waste bins, a bar-restaurant and a beach volleyball court.
