The Rivetta is a small beach of white pebbles tucked along a side road just north of Dervio, in the coastal locality of the same name in the municipality of Dorio, on the eastern shore of the Upper Lake Como. It stands out for the light shade of its pebbles, made of pegmatite.
The Dorio shoreline, less built up than other parts of the lake, alternates natural cliffs with small beaches like this one, offering an open, uninterrupted view over the water and the mountains.
Getting there
By car, take the SS36 state road, Dorio exit, following signs for the Rivetta locality; by train, get off at the village station on the Lecco–Colico–Sondrio line.
